"Without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable."

     Being born and raised in New Orleans, the birthplace of many incredible artists, has had quite an influence on Jacquelyn's artwork. She loves painting musical and New Orleans themed scenes that combine abstract forms with a touch of realism to create her own distinct style.       

     Jacquelyn became interested in art at a very young age when she attended Metairie Park Country Day School. While at Country Day, she enjoyed painting, glassblowing, woodwork, metal, pottery, film and more. Jacquelyn appreciates all forms of art, but her true passion is painting.

     Jacquelyn later attended Louisiana State University where she earned a degree in interior design and a minor in fine art. Although her primary focus is residential new construction design, she also loves getting commissioned to do paintings.
