In October 2015 JL Studio was hired to design Lennox and Lane, a contemporary women's clothing boutique located at 2131 Magazine St. in New Orleans. The renovation work began in late November and was completed for their Soft Opening after Mardi Gras in February 2016.
We're excited to announce that Lennox and Lane had a successful opening this past weekend! The boutique received lots of off street foot traffic. Social media followers poured in from all parts of the Greater New Orleans area. And not to mention, "Living with Landyn," a Nashville fashion blogger with a large Instagram following, posted a picture of the boutique which landed our project even more exposure then we ever expected for the first day! We were very pleased with the sales that Lennox and Lane made on their opening day as well as all the compliments that our design received. We are so honored to have designed this store. At JL Studio, it is our mission to design your dream space and turn it into a reality. And that is exactly what we did for the "Ladies of Lennox."
This renovation features a modernization of the space going far beyond just flooring and paint. However, the wood floors were refinished in a walnut stain and the wooden ceiling joists were repainted in white to give the boutique a more updated, charming appearance. Eco-friendly Vicostone countertops compliment a backdrop wall finished in a seamless Statuary porcelain that is brand new to the construction industry. The wall displays the logo of Lennox + Lane and is made out of a lazer-cut, powder coated metal to emphasize their brand. The wood shelving is finished in laminate and is custom designed to accommodate the store's display needs. Unique wallpapers are used to create accent walls, but they are subtle in color in order to maintain an elegant vibe. Timeless furniture pieces bring a lovely, warm contrast to the cold, contemporary finishes of the space. Modern light fixtures coated in a champagne finish bring the perfect amount of sparkle to the space. Mirrors with LED backlighting adorn the dressing rooms and the shopping experience is rounded off with a revolutionary invisible surround sound system. In a nutshell, it is safe to say that this space had a complete makeover!
